Roots positive displacement blowers are the perfect solution for a variety of applications including pneumatic conveying, sewage and waste water treatment, industrial aeration, pick and place, soil remediation and more. In a Roots PD machine the dual, figure-8 shaped impellers rotate trapping gas or air between the impeller and the casing parts. The air or gas is then forced out the discharge against whatever pressure exists in the system. The Roots Whispair® Blower helps significantly reduce pulsations and shock load on the equipment by letting the gas in the pocket pressurize slowly to discharge conditions via the internal "jets."
